What we collect
Estimate forms collect name, email, phone, ZIP, tape counts, and optional notes so we can quote. Our Home Movies accounts collect the minimum needed to sign in, pick a profile, and stream. We do not sell this information. We do not use family footage to train public AI models or to advertise to anyone.
Your tapes and files
Physical tapes are processed in the United States, returned with your hard drive unless you opt out, and are not used as marketing without separate written permission. Digital masters live on your drive and, for the included six months (and any paid months after), on our hosted streaming service.
Children’s images
Home videos almost always include minors. The customer is the adult account holder, a parent or guardian, not the child. We do not market Our Home Movies streaming to children, we do not create accounts for children under 13 to manage on their own, and we do not use children’s footage for ads. Profiles that represent children exist so a family can watch; they are controlled by the adult plan. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child under 13 other than as part of a parent’s archive, write [email protected].
After six months
Included streaming ends unless you continue a Personal or Family plan. We will not threaten deletion in scare copy. You keep the hard drive files. Hosted copies follow a retention window we will publish when the platform is live; until then, ask us before you assume a file is gone.
Cookies and analytics
We use Ahrefs Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and the Meta Pixel to understand visits and conversion events (estimate slider, ZIP, submit, landing page). Cloudflare may process requests as our host.
